AIC Adds Productivity and Cost-Saving Services to Its Lawson Suite of Offerings
AIC has added a series of new services to our Lawson suite of offerings. In addition to the more traditional implementation, upgrade and support services we have historically provided its Lawson customers, the Company now offers additional services designed to help improve user productivity, reduce costs and maximize performance.

AIC's new services for Lawson customers include:

  • Deploying and optimizing Lawson Smart Office for increased productivty
  • Migrating to Windows Server 2008 RD and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as a cost-effective, scalable and high-performing platform
  • Integrating Lawson S3 with Microsoft Corp.'s business intelligence (BI) capapbilities for the enterprise for enhanced dash-boarding and reporting

"These new service offerings are in line with AIC's commitment to helping companies better leverage technology to drive added business value and deliver on the promise of a more efficient and productive enterprise," said Jay Lendl, AIC's Lawson Practice lead and Microsoft alliance manager. "As companies continue to seek ways to further reduce costs and increase efficiencies and productivity, they often look to technology for help. AIC's new service offerings are designed to help our Lawson customers meet those needs by maximizing the performance of their existing technology investments."

"AIC has worked closely with us for more than 15 years to deliver outstanding services and solutions to our joint customers and, in fact, is our first authorized Lawson Smart Office implementation partner in the U.S.," said David Osborne, vice president of Technology Services at Lawson. "These new services are the next logical step in the evolution of AIC's offerings and will help customers extend the value of not only the Lawson enterprise, but their Microsoft Office applications as well."

"AIC's strategic relationships with both Lawson and Microsoft position them to be able to deliver solutions designed to help customers better leverage their existing technology," said Kim Akers, general manager for global partners at Microsoft. "By linking AIC's expertise in designing and implementing Lawson solutions with the Microsoft systems that are so essential to many companies' operations, AIC delivers unique value to its customers."

AIC is actively engaged in delivering its new services to a number of leading companies across the U.S. and will demonstrate these solutions at Lawson's CUE conference being held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, April 25-28, 2010.
